Important Conditions for Visa-Free Travelers

Passport validity. Your passport must be valid for at least six months beyond your planned departure date from Tajikistan.

OVIR registration. If you stay longer than 14 days, you must register with the OVIR (Office of Visas and Registration) within 10 working days of arrival. Many hotels handle this automatically. Overstaying without registration can result in fines of $100 to $500 and potential deportation.
